O.B. Bassler studied literature and philosophy in the Committee on Social Thought at the University of Chicago and took a second degree in Mathematics from Wesleyan University. He currently teaches in the Philosophy Department at the University of Georgia. He has recently completed a volume of poetry, The Plaster Years, and is at work on a second volume, In The House Of Black Spaniards.
